Greg Prange was a 1979 graduate of Seymour High School. He excelled as a football and basketball player for the Owls, and later attended Indiana University, Bloomington. This fund was established by Edward Spray in memory of his parents, Maurice and May Spray, to provide reoccurring yearly scholarships to first-in-their-generation graduating seniors of Seymour High School. A senior must also be a current resident of Jackson County. Recipients must also be the first person in their family whose biological parents, siblings, or grandparents did not complete a four-year college degree.
